The Ninth Circle of Luck

Can a person withstand temptation if they are suddenly overwhelmed by immense wealth? Money is the opportunity for self-fulfillment, to take a rightful place; it brings confidence in tomorrow, accessibility to all the benefits available on earth, and respect. Who would refuse such prospects? The hero of this story could not resist, forgetting the old truth: nothing—neither good nor bad—comes for free. However, the three benefactors demanded their payment immediately: to renounce his name and surname, his past life, and those who are dear to him. Thus, Dima became Arthur, left everyone behind, including his beloved girlfriend, and ultimately discovered that he was an important episode in someone else's script; he also learned that one can truly reach the depths of hell at the peak of luck.
