Oblomov

Ilya Oblomov voluntarily enclosed himself in a cocoon of apathy and idle dreams. The hero's days are indistinguishable from one another, and his faithful companions are an old sofa and a worn bathrobe. A meeting with the bright and decisive Olga turns Oblomov's world upside down. The awakened feelings bring hope to start anew, but for this, the hero will have to conquer his own laziness. Can love revive someone who has long stopped truly living? Or is 'Oblomovism' a sentence from which even the brightest feeling cannot set one free?
