The History of the Czech Republic

The territory of modern-day Czech Republic is considered one of the most likely Slavic homelands today.

However, the history of the Czech state itself, filled with numerous vivid and dramatic events, is not very well known to the domestic reader.

The proposed work by a collective of authors, published under the editorship of Academician V.I. Picheta, is intended to fill this gap.
