The Little Prince

The tale-fable "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has firmly entered the golden fund of world classics: for more than 70 years, the story of friendship and humanity continues to enchant both young and adult readers. Thanks to the inimitable visual language of Joann Sfar, Saint-Exupéry's work is infused with new shades of meaning.

Sfar's adaptation, one of the most well-known French comic book authors, screenwriter, director, and winner of the Will Eisner and René Goscinny awards, was recognized as the best graphic novel of 2008 for young readers at the Angoulême International Comics Festival and was also included by the French Ministry of Education in the list of school readings for middle school students.

The edition of the graphic adaptation of the tale in Russian uses the classic translation by Nora Gal.
