The Russian Language in Texts on Philology

The purpose of this manual is to help students master the terminology of the specialty, introduce them to some problems of language and literature science, introduce active use of structures characteristic of scientific texts, and most importantly - teach foreign students to create so-called secondary texts based on the proposed texts: outlines, theses, notes, retellings, reports, annotations, summaries.

In addition, the manual includes a section aimed at preparing students for discussions on professional topics. The book contains a large number of texts, tasks related to them, and exercises, as well as tables and necessary reference materials.

The manual is aimed at first and second year philology students.
