The noble mushroom Gaulittrot passes through the fabric of the universe, arriving from the fantastic kingdom of Glöd to the harsh streets of Philadelphia, to return the sacred debt to the human girl Lemuel Clemons. In return for his salvation, he promises to find her missing dog. And so Gaulittrot and Lemuel begin their investigation.
