Transformation

Once, a simple traveling salesman Gregor Samsa wakes up and realizes that he has transformed into an insect. He believes that life will remain the same: he will continue to work, support his family, and pay off his father's debts. But with each passing day, Gregor becomes more of a burden, the home turns into a cage, and his relatives become judges.

At the end of his life, Kafka bequeathed to destroy his unpublished works, but contrary to the wishes of the deceased, his friend Max Brod preserved and published them. Kafka's texts laid the foundation for absurd literature. In these disturbing stories, the fantastic intertwines with reality, and events unfold against familiar logic.
