The Transformation

Once upon a time, a simple traveling salesman named Gregor Samsa wakes up and realizes that he has transformed into an insect. He thinks that life will remain the same: he will continue to work, support his family, and pay off his father's debts. But each day, Gregor becomes more of a burden, the house turns into a cage, and his relatives become judges.

At the end of his life, Kafka bequeathed the destruction of his unpublished works, but contrary to the deceased's wishes, the writer's friend Max Brod preserved them and published them. Kafka's texts laid the foundation for absurdist literature. In these unsettling stories, the fantastic intertwines with reality, and events unfold contrary to familiar logic.
