The private boys' school "Aberfall" is the most prestigious in Cornwall. Yes, there are some problems: the headmaster is unable to cope with bullying among students, and the number of applicants to the school is steadily declining, putting its financial situation at risk. The deputy headmistress—an ambitious lady—can’t wait for the "old man" to retire so she can take his place. But when the headmaster is found dead in his office on the day of an important cricket match, things take a completely different turn, and a real storm breaks out in the parents' chat. Very soon, during the ensuing police investigation, it becomes clear that everyone has something to hide.
