Medals and Orders of the Soviet Union. To the 80th Anniversary of Victory

The book opens to the reader the glorious pages of the history of Soviet and Russian heraldry. The publication provides a detailed description and photographs of all orders and medals that existed in the RSFSR and USSR from 1918 to 1991 and contains a number of archival materials that have not been published before. The theme of the Great Patriotic War, the post-war period, as well as orders, medals, and other various awards has been and remains relevant. Medals and orders were born in honor of specific events. And as long as we honor and remember the Victory Day, celebrate official dates, and ceremoniously mark the anniversaries of government structures and entire cities, the book will be an invaluable guide to the history of the emergence of these loud dates. The album was prepared in collaboration with the Federal State Cultural Institution Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
