History of Interior

The edition represents a brief study on the history of interior design, starting from the Ancient World and ending with design trends of the 20th century and contemporary times.

The manual examines the general laws of the evolution of forms of interiors and furniture, provides a typological classification of buildings, and conducts an analytical breakdown of the interior by its constituent components (spatial form, decor, equipment).

The material is organized according to the chronology of historical epochs and architectural styles accepted in the history of world artistic culture.

Architectural and furniture terms and definitions are provided. The book is aimed at students of architecture and design specialties, as well as a wide range of readers.
