"Wuthering Heights" — this is a story of love on the brink of obsession and revenge, which breaks the destinies of two generations. The only novel by the English writer and poet Emily Brontë. The book became a true challenge to the strict Victorian morality and sparked fierce debates.

Catherine — a woman trying to live by her own rules, the orphan Heathcliff, whose race and ethnicity are still disputed, an old family mansion, lost amidst the heather moors of Yorkshire, ghostly apparitions and the change of unreliable narrators — all of this is masterfully woven into a mysterious, imagination-stirring narrative by the well-educated Brontë.
