The publishing house «Blagovest» has released another book for those Orthodox Christians whose path of churching has just begun, who have only recently started attending church and still know little. After reading this book, you will receive answers to most of your questions, as the authors have attempted to gather everything that is often unclear, complicated, and unknown based on their many years of experience communicating with parishioners and explain it in the most concise and simple language. For example, this edition explains what Sacraments and rituals are, how many there are, and why they are needed at all. You will also learn about what the Holy Church is, which is not merely a temple or building, but the people who make it up – saints, living today, laypeople and monks, clergymen, and all the parishioners. At the end of the book, the publishers included a chapter where the authors will tell us about all Orthodox holidays – both the twelve major ones and those commonly referred to as «great».
