Eleven Houses

In a forgotten corner of Nova Scotia lies Weymouth Island - a place where the world of the living meets the world of the dead. Eleven houses are the final barrier for those who come to Weymouth under the cover of the Storm. For two hundred years, every family, big and small, has ensured that their house is ready at the right hour.
The last Storm took Mabel Bevery's father. Her mother couldn’t cope with the loss and now seeks solace at the bottom of a bottle; her younger sister is afraid to leave the house. The only one Mabel can rely on is the family guardian, Jeff. Everything changes when Miles Cabot, the nephew of Alistair Cabot, the man the Beverys relied on during the last Storm, arrives on the island.
But with Miles's arrival, not only Mabel's life changes. The island will never be the same, for the Great Storm is coming, one that neither Weymouth nor this world has ever known.
