The Experience of Building a Confession

The material for the collection consisted of conversations with Elder Archimandrite Ioann (Krestyankin; 1910-2006), which took place in the 1970s at the Pskovo-Pechersky Monastery during the first week of Great Lent, after the reading of the Penitential Canon of Andrew of Crete.
