The Bible in Stories for Children

For many centuries, the Lord has protected the people living on Earth and continues to care for each of us. This book is about God and those people who loved Him and tried their best to obey Him. Before you is a unique edition—passages from the Synodal translation of the Bible, illustrated by the modern Orthodox artist Alexandra Nurakisheva. The text is adapted for children, and each story from the Old and New Testaments is theologically precise and reinterpreted by the illustrator. The artist managed to recreate epic scenes from Sacred Scripture; in almost every illustration, we see different characters and fates, the daily life and clothing of people from that distant time.
