The Metric Book of Those Baptized

The Metric Book of Those Baptized has been prepared by the publishing house of the Moscow Patriarchate. It represents a special form of accounting for the sacrament of baptism. Such books have long been kept in churches; however, the meeting of the Holy Synod on July 27, 2011, approved a new unified reporting form, and this publication has been printed in accordance with the form that was approved by the Synod. The earlier form of filling out was presented in the form of a table, but now each page of the metric book has three blocks, in each of which information about one baptized person is entered. To make the handwritten text easier to read, black ink was not used in the printing of the book. As a result, inscriptions in black or dark blue ink will be more visible on the page. The book is bound in a sturdy, durable cover and will serve you for many years.
