GZHEL. Russian Craft of the XVIII-XXI Century

This album invites you on an exciting journey through the history of the famous Russian folk art craft. The sections of the album cover unique techniques, decorative elements, and painting methods – everything that has created the recognizable "Gzhel style" for more than three centuries. The publication is prepared in collaboration with the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Art, with texts authored by the curators of the collection, and includes more than 650 items from the museum's collections. In addition to the album part, the publication includes guides to production with a trademark list, a list of artists (with their signatures, monograms, and marks), and a glossary of terms. The album is intended for specialists and a wide audience.
