Operation on Two Hearts

1982. Colonel of the KGB Alexey Ulanov betrays his homeland and flees to the USA, where he becomes an informant for the CIA. Soviet intelligence decides to bring the defector back at any cost and involves his ex-wife Sofia in the operation, who, as it turns out, knew nothing of her husband's intentions. Under the surveillance of KGB Major Oleg Verner, the woman travels to the States, where she "reunites" with her fugitive husband. But luring Ulanov out of the USA is not that simple: he is closely monitored by agents of Western intelligence services. Then Verner and Sofia come up with a daring plan, which, however, is fraught with serious danger for its participants…
