Meet the continuation of the famous Japanese novel by Ayano Takeda about the brass band of Kitauji High School. Based on it, manga, an anime series, and a full-length anime film were released. After success in the qualifying trials, the Kitauji brass band begins preparations for the Kyoto Regional Competition.

Its rivals are strong, and there is outrageously little time for preparation. Two new instructors for percussion and woodwind instruments come to help curator Noboru Taki. Along with them, the band members embark on rigorous training. This hot summer also brings many unforgettable memories for Kumiko Omae: new friends, a trip to the pool, and a training camp. However, hidden in the shadow of summer fun is the mystery of last year, when an internal conflict fractured the band. The events that transpired still resonate painfully in the hearts of many members, preventing them from fully forgetting what they endured.
