Never Apologize

The book introduces Russian-speaking readers to the poetry of Mahmoud Darwish (1941–2008) — one of the most famous Palestinian poets, a classic of modern Arabic literature. In his homeland, his poems have long become a part of cultural memory and public experience. The collection includes texts from different years, in which the themes of home, struggle, memory, and love acquire amazing clarity and inner dignity. The poems are published in the translation by Kirill Korchagin.
