«Designer Zhorika. Book One. Boys»
In the house of ten-year-old Itzik, 387 hours are counted in different voices. The unique collection was started by the boy's grandfather and then continued by his father – both skilled watchmakers. Fleeing from the Nazi invasion, the family finds themselves in evacuation in Asia. After the war, the grown-up Itzik, now calling himself Caesar, returns to his ancestral home, but instead of the watch collection, he only finds ruins. This loss will lead him into a case that newspaper reporters will call the "Elegant Robbery".
Decades later, Designer Zhora will come to the fore. He is also Georges, Georg, Jurgen, Shchors – depending on the country of residence. But for now, he is just a strange orphan boy Zhorika. Fate will bring him together with the elderly Caesar Adamovich, who is now working as a mechanic-laboratory assistant in a leprosy hospital. Fate will also bind them with the secret of a certain collection.
«Designer Zhorika. Book Two. Silver Mine»
The main spring in the plot of this book is Lydia, the "Harlequin Woman". A master tattoo artist, a mesmerizing storyteller ("Scheherazade"), she literally enslaves the souls and feelings of two inseparable friends, Zhorika and Agasha.
The first meeting of the heroes in Bukhara seems to have been prepared by Caesar Adamovich Stakhura. He left a rather dangerous criminal legacy to two "children of his": Lydia, the daughter of a deceased friend, and Zhorika, whom he raised like a son. The unique collection of watches belonging to Abraham Breguet that he had stolen, was securely hidden by the craftsman Caesar Adamovich in a dead silver mine in the mountains.
This hideout intertwines the fates of the heroes into a painful love triangle. The fever of feelings to the limit of life's intensity, a years-long struggle of former friends for the love of a woman, and her oscillation between two men – thread the entire narrative and keep the reader in suspense from the beginning to the end of the book.
