Lindt and Sprüngli

Zurich, 1826. Little Rudolf gathers his last coins to buy medicine for his sick mother, and a kind pharmacist gives him a strange remedy – a bitter treat called "chocolate."
Miraculously, mother recovers, and the boy dreams of closely tying his life to the confectionery craft and becoming the chocolatier who can establish mass production of chocolate. Much stands in Rudolf's way: a conservative father unwilling to change the situation in his confectionery shop; love for a girl who is about to marry another; expenses, difficulties, distances…
However, a businessman's fate is to take risks. And each of us knows how Rudolf Sprüngli's story ends – it is the story of a true visionary who founded the company "Lindt and Sprüngli," known to everyone even today.
