the heart of a beautiful woman.
"Hearts of Three" was written by Jack London in collaboration with screenwriter Charles Goddard. The work was conceived as the basis for a television series - the writer admitted that he took on this work due to a lack of fresh plots for cinema.
This was his fiftieth, anniversary book and an attempt to create an adventure story constructed according to the laws of film: with rapid scene changes, chases, treasures, romantic intrigue, and exotic decor. However, the planned filming did not take place - Hollywood showed no interest, and the novel was published only after London's death, in 1919–1920.
