The Life of St. Blessed Alexander Nevsky Retold for Children

"The weak need to be defended. This simple truth is known to everyone. But it can be difficult to act on it in practice, and sometimes - simply terrifying. However, if you manage to overcome your unpleasant fear and rush to help, everything turns out completely differently. And most importantly - you won’t have to argue with your conscience later. This is very important. Because conscience is not called the voice of God in our soul for nothing. Through it, God Himself speaks to a person, and defending the weak is His direct command." In this way, in simple and clear formulations, the book tells the story of St. Alexander Nevsky, who pleased God precisely by defending the weak throughout his life in the most direct sense - with weapon in hand, in deadly struggle against oppressors.
