As is often the case in folklore,... the plot of the tale has changed, passing from mouth to mouth. It is believed that there are 30 versions of "Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf" in Russian folklore, 19 — in Ukrainian, and 6 — in Belarusian. Writer Anna Gurova and artist Anton Lomayev offer their own version of the tale, retelling it in their own way.
