The Clock That Goes Backwards

The mysterious and terrifying murder of the photographer Nilov brings the crime reporter of the Press Center of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs, Ekaterina Petrovskaya, to the town of Goryevsk. In the early 20th century, the only daughter of the manufacturer Shubnikov, Aglaya, was found hanged in the clock tower. At that moment, the clock in the tower started to go backwards, after which it permanently stopped. Since then, there has been a belief in Goryevsk that the spirit of the tower demands ritual sacrifices—and in return grants cherished wishes. A century later, strange murders resumed. And in front of the arriving Colonel Gushchin, Ekaterina Petrovskaya, and the entire investigative team, the hands of the tower clock came to life and made several circles backwards…
