The most unusual and effective way to understand fractions! Combine minutes into chains to collect a full hour. Match minutes on the dial with fractions; don't let the rabbit be late.
«Oh, I'm late, I'm late again!» (c)
Game rules:
Players take turns laying...
down minute cards on the table. Minutes can be shown in words and numbers, or marked on the clock dial (white area). The goal of the player is to complete the chain by collecting an hour. Whoever is the last to complete the chain of cards to 1 hour takes it for their winning pile.
The game proceeds in turns. On their turn, a player must lay down at least one minute card. They can add to an existing row or start a new row. There should not be more than three initiated rows during the game. A row can only be added to if the sum of minutes in the row does not exceed 60 minutes.
If a player notices that a certain minute card corresponds to a fraction, they can attach the fraction above or below the minutes. This gives a bonus opportunity – to lay down another minute card. Further, another fraction can be added, allowing the player to place yet another minute card. Thus, a player can lay down all three cards from their hand during their turn.
If a player has no move options left, and all three rows have already been initiated, they skip their turn. A player completes the hour when they place the last missing card to reach an hour in some row. In this case, the player takes the entire hour for themselves, including all added fractions on top and bottom. Each card – both minutes and fractions – will bring victory points. After a player has finished their placements, they draw up to three cards from the minute deck, and the open fractions are replenished to the original amount, then the turn passes to the next player.
The game ends when the minute cards in the decks of all players run out or no one can make a move (the deck of fractions may run out earlier or, conversely, remain). At the end of the game, all players count the number of cards in their winning piles (both fractions and minutes). The one with the most wins. There can be multiple winners.
