The Crusades. Wars of the Middle Ages for the Holy Land

The British historian Thomas Esbridge in his book narrates the Crusades — wars for dominance over the Holy Land, a region sacred to both Christians and adherents of the Muslim faith — which were fought over the course of two centuries.
