Sour Taste of Death

Mio Kobayashi learned early what it meant to live in the shadow of someone else's love. While her sister Hina was the family favorite, it was Mio who bore the dirty work in the family restaurant. One day, everything collapsed: their father was killed, their mother disappeared without a trace, and the sisters were separated. Their meeting years later turned out to be fleeting — and the last. Hina is found dead, and the police suspect that she might have killed someone for money. Refusing to believe that her sister is capable of such a thing, Mio begins her own investigation. But Hina's carefully constructed life turns out to be a facade hiding dangerous secrets and connections. The deeper Mio delves into her sister's past, the more entangled she becomes. And along with this, fear grows: if someone is destroying her family, perhaps she will be the next victim on the list.
