Abode of Shadows

In all of Moscow, the seals of the guardians are being broken, and shadows – monsters from the world of chaos – are penetrating into the world of humans. Investigating the attacks of these creatures, Head of the Guardian Service Nikolai Poulg along with his partner Kirill Ard are on the trail of scientists who are experimenting on students of the Academy of Elements, using shadow magic.

For their continued experiments, they need a student who has survived an attack by a shadow, which means she has chaos magic flowing in her veins.

But this girl is Kirill's beloved, who is ready to protect her at the cost of his life.

The case leads the guardians to a shadow-mage residing in an abandoned dark tower.
