The Ninth Day

Adam — the captain of a boat that takes vacationers along the Danube — had long been performing his job mechanically. He was tormented by a sense of guilt, as his wife had committed suicide. Another boat trip was supposed... to go as usual, if it weren't for one of the passengers — a teenager named Sam — wanting to test a search device. He was the one who raised an unusual box with mysterious symbols on the lid from the bottom. It turned out to be empty, but after that, the ordinary trip went off course. It was time to return, but everything around had changed, even the captain no longer recognized the area. The boat continued to move along the river, although all the instruments and mechanisms had stopped working, and communication was lost. Then it started to get dark too early…
