The Fury of Magnus

The story of Magnus the Red is perhaps more tragic than that of all the other sons of the Emperor who succumbed to Chaos.
He was punished for his thirst for knowledge, severely reprimanded, judged, and even torn to pieces, so... the Crimson King has many reasons to thirst for vengeance. However, he joined the armies of the Warmaster besieging Terra not only for revenge. Magnus seeks the missing part of his essence, one of its fragments, which is contained in the most impregnable fortress on the planet — in the inner dungeon of the Imperial Palace. As the greatest conflict of many eras approaches a frenzied climax, the Crimson King wages his own secret battle.
To become whole again, he must not only overcome the fiercest defense but also confront the one whom he loves and hates with equal fervor above all others: his lost father, the Master of Mankind.
