Board Game - Wordsmith

Wordsmith is a game in a glued cardboard box.

Contents:

- cardboard board 27x27 cm (256 cells), 
- 120 letter tokens
- 5 spare tokens.

The rules of the game are as follows:

The order of play is established by the players themselves.
The player with the highest score wins.
At the beginning of the game, the tokens are shuffled with the letters facing down, and each player takes 7 tokens.
The first word must cross any two brown cells in the center of the board. Words can be formed either horizontally or vertically. They must be read either from top to bottom or from left to right.
The number of words that can be formed in one turn from the available tokens is not limited. New words are formed based on existing ones, i.e. already existing words or letters on the board must be part of the new words. After a word is formed, points are counted for it, the player brings their number of tokens back to 7, and hands over the turn to the next player.
A bonus of 25 points is awarded to the player who uses all 7 tokens in one turn. A player who does not want or cannot form any new words skips their turn but can exchange any number of tokens for new ones if they wish.
The total score for one turn consists of several components:
- The sum of the points of the letters in the new word;
- Bonuses for letters. The points for letters located on green cells are doubled, while those on yellow cells are tripled;
- Bonuses for words. The total score of a word is doubled if one of its letters lands on a blue cell, and tripled if it lands on a red cell.

First, the bonus for letters is calculated, then for the word. Bonus cells are used in the calculation only once. The letter "e" is used in words with the letter "ё". The "star" token can replace any token and receive the corresponding points during calculation. The next player can replace a token on the board marked as "star" with a token with its valid letter value provided they use this token in the same turn.
When forming words, only nouns in the nominative case singular are used in the basic rules, except for words that only exist in plural form (scissors, pliers, etc.), or those that have an independent meaning in plural (weight - scales, choice - elections). The same rule applies to diminutive and other derivative forms (little tail, little bath - not allowed; little bridge (captain's) - allowed). The use of specialized terms, slang (colloquial), proper nouns, etc. is separately specified. The game's possibilities, by the way, allow players to agree among themselves and make their own changes to the rules.
