Our present is woven from the past.
 
Several centuries ago, two clans clashed, making Andrei an unwilling witness to his father's brutal crimes. Paralyzed and mute from birth, the boy is unable to confront the power of the past, yet desperately... wishes to influence the future in some way. The only thing Andrei can do is tap out words on a typewriter with his left hand. However, he has conceived of committing an act of a truly desperate man - to break the lineage of killers, numbering fourteen generations, by dealing with his own father. Muteness and weakness, an endless chain of sufferings, humiliations, and losses did not bend Andrei, and he moves toward his goal without deviation, but will he be able to overcome the faith, love, and mercy that he has also inherited from his maternal ancestors?..
