Out of the Dead End. Book Two

The novel reflects a complex period in our history, associated with the construction of the Murmansk railway and the formation of the Northern Fleet of the Arctic Ocean, from which the heroic Northern Fleet later emerged.

The Russian cruiser «Askold» began combat service during the Dardanelles operation, and entered the revolution as a ship of the Northern Fleet.

A large part of the novel is devoted to the struggle against the interventionists in Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, and Karelia.
