Out of the Dead End. Book One

The novel reflects a complex period in our history, associated with the creation of the Murmansk railway and the formation of the fleet of the Arctic Ocean, from which the heroic Northern Fleet was later born.

The Russian cruiser «Askold» began combat service in the Dardanelles operation, and entered the revolution as a ship of the Northern Fleet.

A large part of the novel is dedicated to the struggle against the interventionists in Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, and Karelia.
