Nelson's Last Love

1793. Lady Emma helps her husband, Sir William Hamilton, care for England's interests at the court of the Neapolitan king. Sir William is an ambassador, and his wife, though she holds no official position, participates in all political intrigues alongside... her husband. Her position requires her to maintain a false friendship with the Neapolitan queen Maria Carolina, to lie and pretend every day. But much changes when the English ship 'Agamemnon' arrives in Naples under the command of Captain Horatio Nelson. Emma becomes infatuated with the open and honest sailor. She no longer wants to lie, but circumstances and Emma's dark past, which constantly reminds her of itself, interfere with her desire to change her habitual life.
