The Silver Age is the time of great flourishing of the spiritual life of Russia, which took place in the late 19th – early 20th century, when genius poets such as A. Blok, N. Gumilev, M. Tsvetaeva, O. Mandelstam, A. Akhmatova, S. Yesenin, V. Mayakovsky and many other outstanding masters of words lived and created. Such a constellation of such powerful and original talents, such famous and tragic personalities, has perhaps never before emerged on the horizon of Russian literature.

This book presents the most vivid and significant poetic lines of the most famous representatives of the Silver Age – symbolists, acmeists, futurists, imagists, as well as authors not associated with any specific poetic movement.
