The legendary Franco-British artist Edmund Dulac, a master of the genre... of «fantasy painting», illustrated the tales of «1001 Nights» for the London edition of 1907, and the talented Orientalist Leon Carré, whose drawings adorned the complete twelve-volume edition from the early 20th century, created unique images that turn each tale into a work of art.


In this collection, 15 best tales from the Arab East are brought together for the first time with the works of two outstanding masters of the European book illustration school.
