The Willows of Babylon

Shemet - a priestess of the goddess of death and a Babylonian princess. She faithfully fulfills her duty, although vows separate her from her beloved. One dark night, the life of Shemet and all of Babylon changes forever. The king... is killed by his own brother. Now the city’s inhabitants will have to either bid farewell to life or take a new oath. No one yet knows that that terrible night is only the beginning of the fall of the great kingdom. Shadows gather: the sorrow of the people and the longing of the gods, plague and famine sweep over the city.
