The manifesto of anti-philosophy "The Theory of the Solitary Navigator" was created by French theorist Gilles Grelet on a boat where he has lived for the past few years. Following the path laid out by Lacanian psychoanalysis, the angelism of... the "new philosophers" Guy Lardreau and Christian Jambet, François Laruelle's non-philosophy, and Alain Badiou's theory of the subject, the anti-philosopher who has gone to sea formulates his own version of atheistic expropriation of grace, which he calls gnostic materialism. Grelet's concept is something like an instruction manual for subjectivation, a model for assembling theory or thought as a "boat", allowing us not to drown in the overpowering currents of the world to which we are doomed, but to endure that melancholic solitude in which each of us has always existed.
