Magnolia Bay. Magic, Pure and Evil

The ruthless fighter of the Scarab clan, the striking beauty with hair the color of magnolia, Kari Nemea is bound to her native family by invisible ties. She is the last of the paradise birds - shapeshifters, who once held high status in Magnolia Bay. It's a pity that, no matter how hard she tried, Kari could not grow a single feather on her skin - paradise birds do not sing in captivity.

Kari's biological father has devised a plan to buy his daughter back from the Scarab clan at all costs and made a deal with a faceless demon who takes people's souls and erases their memories.

And one day, Kari wakes up, but no one recognizes her, except for Nael. The agent of the "Burning Lily" syndicate is tied to what is happening much more closely than Kari suspects.

By trusting a stranger, she risks losing her life, and maybe even more... "Magic, Pure and Evil" is the first part of the debut fantasy duology "Magnolia Bay" by Austrian writer K. F. Schreiber.
