She works wherever she can, lives as if in a train station. She visits a psychologist, takes antidepressants, and pushes away thoughts of suicide and terrible memories with drugs and alcohol. She trusts no one in the world.
 
But one day on a missing children's flyer, Lane sees a strangely familiar face: ten-year-old Olivia, just like she was as a child. The case is assigned to detective Sean Ortiz, who found Lane on the side of the road ten years ago and was kind to her.
 
But is this a sufficient reason for her to cooperate with the investigation?..
