"Autumn" is the third book continuing the four-volume series of landscape lyricism "Japanese Seasons".

Haiku is magical images reproduced in verbal sketches. The classics of the genre urged to not describe but to name things in the simplest of words, as if speaking them for the first time.

A unique thematic collection of Japanese haiku poetry has been prepared by the renowned Russian researcher and translator, professor of Japanese literature at HSE University and distinguished professor of Akita International University, Alexander Dolin, who lived and worked for many years in the Land of the Rising Sun.

The book includes masterpieces from the best masters of haiku poetry, the greatest poets of the Middle Ages and the Silver Age.
