Dead Chain

Police officers Guryev and Kryachko were invited to the silver wedding of an old friend, a journalist from a small Siberian town. The celebration was joyful. But the next morning, an emergency occurs: the journalist's neighbor, the official Maryina, reports her ten-year-old son missing. The boy went to the store and vanished without a trace. There are no threats or ransom demands. Searching the area yielded no results. Guryev observes Maryina's circle, and he begins to harbor suspicions about certain individuals – their behavior is too unnatural in this situation...
