The search for the philosopher's stone, which turns any metal into noble and expensive gold, has doomed more than one adventurer. And it seemed that it was time to stop believing in this dangerous invention, but not so fast! College secretary Rodion Vanzarov and his friend and colleague Apollon Lebedev are about to uncover several intricate murders, each of which is somehow connected to the search for the philosopher's stone. And where this stone is hidden, it turns out, is known by... Pushkin!
