Arleta Starstone sells baked goods at the city market every day and perfects her recipes every evening. In a world of enchantments and magic, it's not easy to be an ordinary person, and her products simply can't compete with the creations of elves or dwarves. She is good, but not enough.

That's what Arleta thinks until she receives an invitation to the prestigious Bakers' Tournament. She faces a choice: accept the offer from a handsome elf and test her skills, or refuse, as no human has participated in the tournament before.
