On Ghost Island, in Max Moeller's house, another search is taking place. A routine matter for the head of the largest... criminal cartel in Southeast Europe. In the midst of the chaos, a young and charming stranger appears at the mansion's doorstep. Officially, Sebastian is a journalist from Chile, here to interview Max, but in reality, he is a CIA agent. However, upon seeing the daughter of the mafia boss, his professional duty takes a back seat to his feelings. The couple has only four days, yet a few fleeting touches, short conversations about their favorite books, and a boat ride are enough for them to fall irrevocably in love.
 
Twenty years later, Sebastian — an influential politician and model family man — is leading a very different life. On the other side of the screen, Moeller's daughter watches him, ready to do anything just to see him again.
 
And as they say, there is no place more perfect for a reunion of former lovers than Rome...
