The Camp of Death

In one of the central regions of Russia, a particularly dangerous gang is carrying out raids on the homes of clergymen. They rob and kill the owners, after which they disappear without a trace. To combat the rampant criminals, a special unit is created, which includes police lieutenant Porfiriy Vasin. A former border guard, he deftly takes on the case and soon tracks down a Gypsy diaspora involved in bloody raids. The only thing left is to catch the robbers. But catching a Gypsy red-handed is no easy task. So Vasin and his comrades decide to use military cunning against the bandits…

An unique opportunity to return to one of the brightest periods of Soviet history – the post-war time. Real people, genuine criminal cases, gripping plot twists.

Characters reminiscent of the iconic images from the film "The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed". The spirit of the time, tenderly preserved in many families. An unusually realistic portrayal of the "kitchen" of the everyday work of Soviet militia.
